Dreadlock artist and owner of So U Locs. I create natural crochet locs, maintain existing sets, and handmake custom extensions for anyone who wants length, fullness, color, or just a little extra magic.

My dread work is intentional, clean, and product-free. No gunk, no gels, no wax — just pure technique and art in every strand. Whether you’re beginning your dread journey or leveling up your current one, I’m here to create something that truly feels like you.

My Story

I didn’t grow up planning to do hair — I grew up loving color, texture, and all things messy and authentic… and somehow, dreadlocks found me. I am in love with the way humans are all so different. That is why we are so beautiful. And I feel the same about dreadlocks. They carry our stories. They carry our energy. I love helping to bring those unique things out to the surface. The YOU that comes out when you leave my chair. You have no idea until you experience it for yourself.

Caring for locs just clicked. It’s art, it’s connection, it’s fun, and it’s honestly my happy place. Every head I touch is different, every loc has its own personality, and I love helping people express themselves through their hair — whether it’s natural dreadlocks, braid-in extensions, or a little extra texture and flair.

I specialize in the crochet method for natural locs, maintenance, repair. I also craft braid in extensions by hand-- Crochet dreads, textured twists, braids, curls and wool pieces.

I’m endlessly grateful for every person who lets me play in their hair and be part of their loc journey. This life could not be more incredible.
